I've been away for a bit working on many different projects as of late so it was great to be able to paint again. I did a painting that I would normally do and another two which were a break from that. One is painted on a toned ground - actually I created a colored gesso and put that on panel. It was the most fun I've had painting something in a very long time. and the last one is an attempt to paint something and give it a patina of efforts.

I wondered if you had given up on your blog! Glad to see you are back. My preference goes to asparagus+2, but it is wholly subjective and unreasoned.
Alan Redfern (the painter, husband of the framer)was asking about you and whether you had an exhibition planned.
