Gourds

As I work on these paintings, I am thinking about borders. Borders, edges, and boundaries are porous and malleable. There are very rarely true and hard lines demarcating the ending and beginning of anything. Each side is always mixing with the other influencing the other and eventually creating something new.

Love the commentary. So true in all things! Hope the home studio proves conducive to more great paintings, diaper changed notwithstanding!

i'm hoping that it sorts itself out nicely too. The change of a studio is always daunting to me but it works out well in the end.
