Newark



I'm going to go to Newark, New Jersey today to do a performance piece. I call it "Stretching a Canvas". I will talk about the work tomorrow and have photos. I am also going to visit a painting that is hanging there. More about that tomorrow as well

Here is a new painting from yesterday : the fall light in the studio is really great and I'm loving painting here. Click on the picture to see it full-size, and see the colors better.

Neil! The colors are rich and vivid and the strokes are a lot of fun to look at. Great piece!

I've got these really great palette plates (glaze palettes for the factories) with that banding. they make for great compositions but it is so hard to get the elipses right. i think the drawing for that painting is one of the hardest things i've ever drawn.
