I've finally been able to start focusing only on painting. It's so wonderful here. I spent the day under an apple tree painting a scene accross the valley. I was able to get three paintings started and hope to finish all of them soon. I will be riding my bike around the countryside looking for nice scenes. It's not to hard to find great views. While I'm waiting around for people to wake up, I've done some still lifes of the fruit we bought at a market in a village not too far away. Some of the fruit got smooshed on the bike ride home but the fruit in the sill life made it home fine.

those are filler to get me going on the other stuff and i have done a whole bunch of landscapes. i think that they are coming along nicely. and i've also done 3 other still lifes. the weather has been bad so i am stuck inside doing that sort of work. I hope to come back with a mega pile of great paintings.
