I started this painting by painting only in white because of a concert I had seen with a friend in Prague (William Binay-Tay) who unfortunately passed away 10 years ago. He insisted on seeing the Brecker brothers - two guys who are actually brothers - who play with a ton of jazz greats. There was a part during the show that the drummer did an intense and long solo. He played the drums so incredibly that it sounded like there were other instruments playing along with the drums. I figured doing something in all white could emulated that. I used the results to create this painting.
