So i'm still plugging along drawing 7-8 hours a day and I try to do a painting when I get home to keep my skills up. I haven't posted the drawings because they are only exercises and i'm waiting to have some hot stuff to impress all of you! in the mean time this is the chair i'm working on at my studio. the painting is still a work in progress.
i'm also posting 2 paintings of pears. The first one is my normal stuff and the second is based upon what i'm trying to do in the painting of the chair.

love your brushwork in the chair...and the atmosphere....good stuff!
i'm hoping that the chair is the lead to the future. i'm mounting it to wood tomorrow. big operation - hope it goes well! Basically i want to do the chair approach with the figure. Kanevsky and Gale only as my own. that's the plan. thanks for the shout out
